Facts about water

Everyone knows well that we can’t live without water more than 3 days. Water is important part of our living. It’s the source of life. We use water for consumption, cooking, cleaning, and creating energy and so on.  However, from all of the water on this planet, fresh water is just 3%. Moreover, not all of them are ready for our usage and not all of us gain access to those sources of water.

The followings are some of the main problems being discussed globally. UN and other organizations have become more active to finding the solutions which will help our world and people in the next generation. Nowadays, even business sectors are aware of how serious this problem is.

                  1. Polluted or contaminated of existing water sources.

                   2. Flooding.

                3. Drought.

                4. Inadequate access to clean water for consumption.

                5. Groundwater overdrafting.

Those are just some of the major water problems concerned by many of the world-wide organisation like UN, UNESCO, World Water Association and etc. They are trying to figure out the way to eliminate these problems and not create more problems.

Some of you may feel like they are far from you but they aren't. If we don't care about those problems and don't start doing something to change it, one day, they will come to you and when they come, it will be too late for us. All of us live on the same planet, share the same resources and our children will also live and use the same resources with us. It's our responsibility to maintain balance of this world for our next generation. Today, you can start with water.
